MRON is the Regional Economic Development Board (REDB) for Zone 17 and is a not-for-profit corporation. Working with other government and not-for-profit economic development organizations, MRON acts as the facilitator of the Zonal Process for the Baccalieu Trail, bringing all agencies, organizations, businesses and residents together to work in harmony towards economic development. It is through this cooperative partnership approach that the rich resources of this peninsula can best be identified and maximized.
