"B" Division
Newfoundland and Labrador
"B" Division is comprised of the Island of Newfoundland and Labrador with the headquarters located at East White Hills Road, St. John’s. The division is divided geographically into two Area Management Teams and eleven districts. The Districts were formed to replace the previous structure that included four subdivisions. Reengineering of the organization brings us closer to our communities and provides a greater opportunity to deliver quality community policing services.
"B" Division has three groups of employees: Regular Members, Civilian Members, and Public Service employees. All work as a complimentary team to meet the RCMP objectives. These may be grouped into two categories, those coming under the RCMP Act (R/M, S/CST. & C/M) and those under the Public Service Employment Act (P.S.E.). Each of these groups has a centralized branch and section taking care of operational and personnel matters. The division consists of:
