Have been enjoying all the posted articles about
Cupids, the history of the Daw (Dawe) family. I
wonder which site has census listings for Cupids, and for which years?
Are UC records available on line? School records?
Coastal Maine reminded my husband, Harold Stevens,
of Nfld....esp. along the coast where he had 5tudent churches...Epworth, Creston, etc. in the
late 1930's.

My late husband, Harold Stevens, b. Otterbury by
Clarke's Beach was working on his family history
which I want to finish. His mother was Edna Jane
Dawe, b. to Capt. Charlie Dawe and second wife,
Selina Ralph of Clarke's beach..1885.
Seeking information on Charles Dawe's firat
wife and family. I just saw notice of a genealogy
society in Cupids. Who would I contact? A cousin
of Harolds is Eileen Martin who lives on the site
of the original Dawe house but I do not have her
address. Fifteen years ago we visited the UC
church cemetery and saw the gravestones of
Charles and Selina and various others whom we
could not identify. Any suggestions would be
welcome. Mail to: Mary Stevens, 1 Colburn Dr.#13

I would like to extend my condolences to you and all of your fellow members for the recent loss of four of your finest.
I hope from these recent events the RCMP gains more respect from the general public.
