Looking at pictures and reading about my birthplace of Bay Roberts--brings a tear to the
eye and reflections to mind.
My upbringing on Cable Avenue was truly an experience. My fellow friends--Des Burke,Bill Barclay,Eddy Flynn,Edmund Dawson etc often times
bring refreshing reminders of days gone by.

My mother was Myrtle Banton whose parents, Mary and Caleb Banton, moved to Winterton from St. Jones Without. I still have relatives living in Winterton.
