I stumble upon this webpage and to my surprise saw a picture of a place that I have drove by many times.
Thanks for the great pictures

Used to go out around the bay from St. John's some years ago to visit relatives in Bay Roberts and used to take the old Fleetline Bus around Route 60 (the "low road", the "old way.") Been this way recently as well. How long have Crocker's Store and McCue's Store in Marysvale been out of business? Miss those old landmarks!

Nice site. I am currently researching my family history. I am a decendant of James Sharpe from Spoon Cove. I am having some difficulty in finding information on him as he had about 13 sons and several daughters. I have found much information on James and Mary Anne (Adams) Sharpe and also on my grandfather, their son, James William Sharpe. Anyone there who is kind of a historian, I would love to speak with them. My number is 709-548-2535. Call me and leave a message I will return your call. Oh yes, Joseph Lynch is also my grandfather, Alberta Lynch was my grandmother, I understand Eliza Lynch is still living in Upper Island Cove, wow!!!! Thanks for the opportunity to make contact. I remain, Sincerely yours, Sarah Anne Sharpe

Hi Guys, your site is attractive, however i find that you must up-date your "where to stay" Page. I found that some places were close and not in opperation for some time now, anyway i guess it takes time to over see eveything, for the most part keep up the good work and have a great summer Ray.
